The Puerto Deportivo Coralmar is a breathtakingly beautiful harbor that is quietly and idyllically located in the area of Cala Corral. Although there are no restaurants directly in the harbour, numerous local Spanish restaurants are within easy reach. The couple had a beautiful villa here and their own restaurant/club called XaXa. Although it unfortunately did not end well for XaXa, Cala Tarida remains a popular destination for many Dutch people. The villa that Yolanthe and Wesley built on Ibiza is perhaps one of the most beautiful villas on the island. This seaside town is a popular destination for those looking for a luxury holiday, especially as the villa is equipped with everything one could wish for and is built with a beautiful architecture

Xaxa Ibiza

Many Dutch people also know this beach because of the former restaurant XaXa. Incidentally, the name XaXa comes from the nickname that the son of the former glamor couple gave himself. Xess Xava, was still too young to pronounce his own name properly and called himself XaXa, which is how the name of the club/restaurant came about. In 2017, the opening of XaXa was with a lot of fuss and an excessive party, but unfortunately it was not the success story that people hoped for.

At that time, the opening of XaXa was long overdue, due to the renovation of the restaurant, which already had some problems, and the prices on the menu were very high for the average visitor. The quality of the food was also below average, given the expected price/quality ratio, and many were not satisfied with the service. It was a big project of the former glamor couple, but unfortunately it had little success, and now little is left of this great club / restaurant.

Disagreements with Yolanthe’s brother, Xavier

In addition to the problems that occurred during the renovation of XaXa, there were also problems with permits and alleged disagreements with Yolanthe’s (Xavier) brother who ran the restaurant.

In 2020, the former glamor couple closed the doors of XaXa when their relationship ended and corona hit the island hard. However, Yolanthe has stated in June 2022 that she and Wesley are still the owners of XaXa and they still haven’t decided what they want to do with the restaurant. Sometimes they want to sell it, but other times they hesitate and want to keep it anyway and maybe open it again. It is clear that they are still attached to this place, and the memories they have here, and may want to start over with XaXa in the future.
